After creating the beautiful gown that is the Valerian Gown, I found I had a little bit of fabric left!
What to do?

I put my creative thinking cap on and came up with quite a few ideas, the Bellatrix Gown was born!

Initially my inspiration was those grogeous gowns from Versialles which were worn by the aristocracy of years goen by. I still believe that the inspiration can be seen in the little gown.

However, my main inspiration was that Beautiful Baddie Bellatrix LeStrange.
She would deffo dress her evil little bundle of wrath in this gown. Don't you agree??

It is hand crafted and fully structured and tailored to the highest quality (only the best for evil little witches), using stunning green & black shot taffeta, sumptuous dress net and delicate lace.

I am pretty pleased with this design. I hope all you Witches, Vamps & Ghouls are too!

A Night in The Mortuary.....

The first photo shoot of 2017 happened last weekend! I’m not a photographer, and i’m not really very skilled in photo editing, and these are areas I would like to become more skilled in. We all know the only way to do this is to actually do them…. so that is what I intend to do  Things can only get better……

So here we are….The Mortuary Dress & Corset.

Dress is made in stretch cotton fabric, with tattered and frayed chiffon. Waist Cincher is metal boned. Also available in PVC, Stretch Satin and Crushed Velvet. Colours Black, Red, Purple, White with contrast of Black, Red, Purple, White, Lime Green.

The lovely gloomy weather we are having has inspired me to play with my camera and do a little bit of experimenting with Photoshop.....

Back to Normal (well as normal as can be)

Highlight of the day today - sleeping in until 1pm. It was wonderful.
However the thought of getting up at 7am is not so wonderful. Yes, I have work in the morning. Regular work away from the Crypt. My alter-ego works in a beautiful old haunted theatre.
Maybe not so normal after all.......

But before then, I shall be spending some quality time in the Crypt, with my beloved cat and bat, working on some new pieces....

Stage one is complete; outer shell is constructed and now I need to position the tombstones and bead the RIP into place.
