On Saturday a friend told me his mother had changed her way of looking at her achievements; she decided not to wake in the morning and think "what can I achieve today?", but instead to take each day as it came and look back each evening and ask "what have I achieved today?".
I found this to be a rather good way to look at life; does it mean the end of failure? Or would it mean the end of goals? Or would we still have subconscious goals, but it wouldn't be a failure anymore if we didn't achieve them?
So what exactly have I achieved over the past couple of days?
- The self satisfaction that I will always step up to the mark when needed, even if I ultimately get kicked in the teeth.
- Finances (invoices) done for the month of February.
- Working with a colleague to ensure the smooth running of the bar for two major events coming up.
So let's see how this outlook works over the next few weeks! Could it be a positive thing? Only time will tell.....

Trembling....
So I have just had one of the most horrible experiences ever; comes close to the fear I felt on the two occasions one of my sons wandered off when he was little. An indescribable fear!
My eldest son phoned to tell me my mother was missing at Old Trafford. They had became separated during some march. She wasn't answering her phone. Immediately that panic sets in, along with a total overwhelming feeling of helplessness. I am miles away and have no means of getting there to find her. Then the worry that he will get lost looking for her...
After frantic phone calls and liaising with the security she was found; in the stadium safe and sound.
I'm still trembling at the thought....

Bloody Tired....
So it seems that Sundays are rather tiring at the theatre. I'm shattered, and it was a pretty uneventful day on the whole.
My bed looks so welcoming; I simply cannot wait until its time to get in it....

New Ring!!!
Last week I lost the stone out of a beautiful ring my daughter gave me. This means a dark blood red stone is laying around the office somewhere hiding!
However - good news! I have a NEW ring! A stunning black daisy; my favourite flower :)
