So it seems my mother is now a bit of a celebrity here in Workington!
Yep, it was she who had her face beamed across the world during the Manchester United match on Wednesday evening.
And now she is recognised instantly whenever she is out and about - and she LOVES the attention :)

New Years Resolutions.

Finally decided what they shall be:

* Learn to drive (needed for both personal and professional reasons)

* Socialise more (I've became far too reclusive)

* Start my Teacher Training (teaching English to adult learners; something I really want to do)

And that's all.

And today i shall be......

.......fighting against technology and trying to transfer music/films from my laptop to my tablet. For the train journey to Manchester in the morning!
Why do such things evade me? I will struggle for hours then Ryan will do it in 5 minutes!
Maybe technology is guilty of sex discrimination? ;)

Been a very busy day today. Working on the R.I.P corset (working title - not sure what to name it just yet); managed to get all the bones in, and the tombstones stitched into place.
Its looking GOOD :)

Also managed to get some bargains listed on ebay.....

Spooky Sunday.....

Starting to feel somewhat better now, putting the past waaayyy behind me. I refuse to let any of the harsh words spoken to me affect my future :) in the same way I have let go of all the anger I felt years ago which caused me to lash out when I couldn't get my own way. That person is gone.

We have had snow! Yes I woke to a small drizzling of snow. I think it's turned to rain now though. Oh well, the gloomier the better ;)

The crypt is a hive of activity! Plenty of new designs taking shape; ranging from a cute child's Alice dress to a wonderful Vampire ball gown!

I didn't do much last night at all; infact I was tucked up and drifting off to sleep well before midnight - only to be rudely awoken by the banging of fireworks!!

Woke up after 11am this morning, and did a little bit of sewing and stuff. But this afternoon was reserved for The Wizard of Oz :)

So 2013 has gotten off to a quiet start, however my instincts tell me the quietness won't last long down here in The Crypt.......
